The AGPA is the Australian Golf Players Association and was established to link with and assist all Australian golfers, amateur and professional. The AGPA will liaise with the management of golf clubs and other golf facilities, as well as those stakeholders who support and promote all players and the playing of the game.

The AGPA will work closely with those organisations and facilities who are actively seeking to support those who wish to learn to play and enjoy the thrill of playing the game and who support the current and future social interactions associated with the game.  

​

The AGPA will actively promote those people and facilities who provide support to those players who strive to succeed at the highest elite amateur level. The AGPA will also promote  and provide opportunities to those professional players who attain a recognised competitive level and who will properly showcase the game, entertain the public and promote the sport throughout Australia and our region.

The AGPA acknowledges and respects the efforts made by those past and current, including but not limited to, volunteers, all teachers of the game, players, course superintendents, facility managers, course architects and individual Tours. 

​

Parents, partners, guardians, family, friends and others are also acknowledged and respected for their efforts in supporting and assisting others to connect with and enjoy the thrill of playing the game and or the social interactions associated with the game.  

   

The Australian Golf Players Championship will be formally introduced in 2022.
